First Baptist Church of Norman Park will present “Return to Bethlehem,” a living nativity that takes visitors back to the time Jesus was born. They can walk through the marketplace and see Mary and Joseph, the wise men and shepherds, and the manger where the baby was born.
The event will take place 6-9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Georgia Baptist Conference Center. Check-in will be at Hope Chapel. Groups or individuals can show up between those hours, and they’ll be organized into tour groups. The event will shut down when the last tour group has gone through.
“Return to Bethlehem” is free. It will feature about a hundred volunteers, including both actors and the behind-the-scenes crew.
